If you’re over 60 years old, picking out cruise outfits could be fun but tricky. But don’t worry, I’ve got you covered! Let’s dive into some absolutely FABULOUS outfit ideas for women over 60 going on the cruise. Whether you’re going for the sunset cruise or the fancy dinner on the ship itself, you’ll look fabulous in these outfits!

    Cruise Wear for Women 60+

The cruise wear for women over 60 should feel fun but also be applied. We really wanna feel comfortable but look fantastic for the ship’s events too! I’ve learned over time that the LIGHT airy fabrics will work wonders. I really love wearing the flowy tops with HAPPENING trousers or a simple dress for the daytime jaunt. I think the comfortable, casual vibe is perfect when you walk on the deck or sit in the sun.

For pool days, pair a sun hat with a light sundress or casual maxi dress. Trust me, the breezy dress is always the answer. It’s stylish, comfortable, and perfect for the sea breeze.

    Dresses for Cruise Dinner

One of the most AMAZING parts of the actual cruising is enjoying the very fancy dinners. When it comes to what to wear on the dinner cruise itself, I say go all out! I always pack a few prom dresses for cruise dinners to feel glamorous on board.

For the cruise dinners, I love picking something that’s both ELEGANT and very comfortable. A really simple, elegant dress in a deep colour can make you feel like the star while you sip the wine and enjoy a delicious meal. I’ve discovered that the dresses with some stretch are simply perfect. They fit just right without being too tight or uncomfortable. If you really want a little sparkle, the dress with subtle sequins or beads itself will give you that extra flair.

Now, when I think about what to wear on the dinner boat cruise itself, I consider both style and comfort. On these cruises, you’ll want something that looks great but also keeps you warm if the night gets cool. I usually choose a stylish yet very lightweight cardigan or shawl to layer over my dress. It keeps me warm while still looking very stylish.

A dress with the FLATTERING cut always works for me. Whether it’s an A-line, sheath, or wrap dress, I like the ones that will make me feel CONFIDENT and are easy to move in. A pair of elegant yet really comfy shoes is the essential item itself. Think the squishy, flat sandals or low heels – you’ll thank yourself later!

    Carnival Cruise Dinners

If you are going on the Carnival cruise, you are in for a real treat. The dinners on these cruises are like a celebration every night. The attire for the Carnival cruise dinners is typically a bit more comfortable, but I still like to put in some effort. I love wearing colourful dresses that will make me feel like I’m part of the lively atmosphere on the board itself. A maxi dress is always a really great choice for the Carnival cruise dinner itself.

I love the idea of blending comfort and style for these dinners themselves. You don’t have to go utterly Prom to look truly fabulous. Sometimes, the well-chosen, very CHIC dress with some accessories will make you stand out. Don’t forget your favourite statement earrings or necklace to complete your outfit!

    Formal Dresses for Cruise Dinner

The cruises themselves always have formal nights, and trust me, these nights are truly some of the most precious parts of your trip. The formal dresses for the cruise dinners are the perfect way to show off your glamour. I’ve learned to always pack a beautiful floor-length gown, and I never regret it. Whether it’s black, navy, or a pop of colour, the classic formal dress itself is timeless and always a good choice.

I make sure to pick the one that I can move into very easily, and that will make me feel very optimistic. If you feel more

  • My Experience Avoiding Seasickness on Harmony of the Seas

    Cruise ship
    Cruise ship

My FIRST cruise raised a lot of questions. Seasickness was a MAJOR concern for me. Was seasickness something to be concerned with? Would I feel uncomfortable? I’d a mix of excitement and nerves. I thought a cruise should be enjoyable and calm, so I conducted research to learn even more. I’m now ready to impart the information I’ve discovered!

    Seasick on a cruise ship

I was quite worried about seasickness before my first cruise. Dizziness at sea didn’t sound too fun. I discovered that not all people get seasick on a cruise. Some, just like me, never actually experienced seasickness, but others did struggle. It’s a matter of your body, the ship, and the weather as to how you’ll feel.

I found out that bigger cruise ships greatly decrease the probability of seasickness. So I suppose I was lucky to be on the Harmony of the Seas – it’s ENORMOUS! And even when the waves were a bit ROUGH, I didn’t feel any issues. I see why you might be worried. Let’s discuss ways to circumvent seasickness itself.

    How to circumvent seasickness

I knew seasickness existed, so I took steps to prevent it. Many say training helps avoid seasickness. I carried seasickness medication and also tried some NATURAL remedies. I took ginger and drank lots of water to stay hydrated. It really made a huge difference!!

Pro tip: Make an effort to spend time on the higher decks whenever possible. Higher decks appear less often and will offer you more FRESH air. I really spent time on the open deck seeing the view and the sun. This helped me feel calm and rather solid!

    Best spot

Choosing the correct position on the ship was a vital insight. Some cabins will be far better than others in helping you avoid seasickness. The very center of the ship is the very best place to get away from seasickness. The center of the ship will be the least in motion.

I remained on the LOWER decks where I experienced much less movement. Cabins that are centered on those decks are the best way to avoid seasickness. I spent my time on that deck and was really grateful for that decision.

    Best deck

Now I’ve actually been able to look into a few ships, and I’ve to say the Oasis of the Seas was truly an awesome experience. I’d recommend areas that are centrally learned so that you don’t have to travel too far to reach your destination. Lower decks will give you a smoother ride and significantly cut down on seasickness.

It’d be better to book your cabin near the center and close to the waterline. The ship itself would be very steady when you’re near the middle section, and also very convenient to access your options and exercise.

    Seasickness Prohibition

When I first came across seasickness prevention, I was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of information. I discovered that preventing seasickness doesn’t have to be overcomplicated! Just stay relaxed and calm. Stress will make seasickness worse.

Being pretty active helped me. If you feel queasy, take a walk. Fresh air is essential to clear your mind. Walking around the decks, taking in the ocean air, and looking at the view helped me feel better!

Since I’ve been on the Harmony of the Seas, I think I’m in a good position to suggest a few cabins to avoid if seasickness is an issue for you. Really try to get your cabin as close to the center of the ship and as near to the waterline to reduce seasickness. Keep away from the front and rear of the ship if you’re really worried about seasickness. These areas tend to move more, which probably makes seasickness a lot harder to avoid.

So if you happen to be going on Harmony of the Seas, I’d say book yourself into the lower middle cabins for the best experience overall. I’d a fantastic cabin, and that really improved my whole cruise experience.

  • Best Red Wine for Pizza Pairing

    Pizza and wine
    Pizza and wine

It’s pizza night, which is one of my absolute favorite lores. But let’s be honest, picking the PERFECT wine for pizza is a bit of a tricky job at times. You wouldn’t wanna just grab any old bottle from the fridge, would you? Whether it’s pepperoni, margherita, or something with an extra amount of cheese, the right wine pairing will really elevate your pizza experience to the next level. I’m so EXCITED to share my insights on the BEST red wine for pizza and some other FUN wine pairings!

    Best Wine Pairing with Pizza

Now, when I think of pizza and wine, my mind instantly leaps to red wine. But hey, I’ve learned through trial and error that not all red wines are created equal for pizza purposes. There are a few things you should think about before you make a decision on your bottle. The pizza has cheese. The pizza has sauce. The pizza has toppings. The wine is red. The wine will go with the pizza. The pizza is very hot. The pizza is cheesy. The pizza is DELICIOUS. The pizza is fun. The wine is fun. The pizza is my number one choice. The wine is my number one choice. The pizza is the food. The wine is the drink. The pizza and the wine are perfect.

For me, the best wine pairing with pizza isn’t about picking something that sounds extremely fancy or extremely expensive. It’s about matching the flavors of your pizza to the characteristics of the wine itself. I’ve discovered that a LIGHT, fruity red, such as Pinot Noir, pairs very nicely with a margherita pizza. It’s so REFRESHING and doesn’t overpower the simple yet fresh ingredients themselves.

For heavier pizzas like meat-lovers with pepperoni and sausage, try a bolder red. A Cabernet Sauvignon really can bring out those meaty flavors whilst also keeping the overall experience perfectly balanced. Believe me, when I first had this combination, I was sold on it.

If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably asked yourself What wine with pizza?’ several times. The answer really does depend on the toppings themselves. I’ve experimented a lot, and I’ve to say, matching the wine to the toppings is the key here.

For white pizzas (ricotta, spinach, garlic), a crisp is best. I can’t get enough of a Sauvignon Blanc with this kinda pizza itself. It’s light, very delicious, and makes the most of the creaminess of the ricotta. For tomato-based pizzas, red wine works best.

For me, a glass of Chianti is really the perfect choice with a classic margherita. The tart tomatoes and the super-rich mozzarella really shine when matched with this Italian red itself. I’ve also discovered that a Zinfandel, with its spicy kick, will actually match a pizza with spicy sausage or jalapeños quite well. It’s a match made in heaven itself.

    White wine and pizza

I know, I know. Are you probably thinking ‘white wine with pizza? Really??’ But bear with me. I’ve learned that a white wine and pizza can be an unexpectedly great duo. While red wines are often the go-to choice with pizza, a white wine will have its own charm if it’s paired with the right pie itself.

One of my favorite combinations is a very buttery Chardonnay with a chicken and mushroom pizza itself. The irony of the Chardonnay pairs beautifully with the realistic mushrooms and the very TENDER chicken. Another pleasant surprise I came across is pairing a very dry Riesling with a seafood pizza. The wine’s slight sweetness balances the very salty type of the seafood itself, and the hostility will cut right through the cheese. I never thought I’d be a fan of a white wine and pizza, but it works itself.

    Best red wine for pizza

Okay, let’s dive into my personal best red wines for pizza itself. I have tried so many wines over the years, and these always stand out to me. If I’d to pick just a few, I’d have to recommend them to anyone trying to figure out the best red wine for pizza itself.

Firstly, I just can’t get enough of a really good Pinot Noir. It’s light, silky smooth, and will pair quite well with almost any pizza. Whether you’re enjoying a veggie pizza or the classic cheese pizza itself, Pinot

  • My Guide to the Best Beaches in Maine

    Maine beach
    Maine beach

Maine is a truly AMAZING place with some of the best beaches in the US. When I first visited, I didn’t expect to see so many incredibly BEAUTIFUL spots where you could enjoy the sea and sun. But guess what? Maine has loads of beaches that will give you something for every taste. Whether you like relaxing by the water or hiking, Maine’s beaches have something for everyone.

    Maine beaches

You may ask yourself, ‘Are there beaches in Maine?’ The answer is a really big yes! Maine itself is home to more than 3,500 miles of coastline, so there’s no lack of the most beautiful beaches. The beaches are perfect for everyone, from water sports enthusiasts to those who just wanna admire the views.

When I first asked myself this question, I’d no idea how many PHENOMENAL options I’d find. Now I can hardly imagine Maine without its MAGNIFICENT shores. From the iconic lighthouses to that incredibly soft sand and that fresh, cool ocean breeze, Maine’s beaches have something really quite special about them. It’s absolutely a hidden gem.

    Best beaches in ME

Maine’s best beaches are spread all over the state. If you want great options, here are my personal recommendations. I promise, when you first set foot on these beaches, you’ll never wanna leave!

The first beach to genuinely capture my heart is Old Orchard Beach. I love it – everything you need for a fun day at the beach is here. It’s very LIVELY with an amusement park situated right by the sea itself. The sand is soft, and the ocean is perfect for swimming. I can quite easily spend the whole day here. Old Orchard Beach is one of those places where memories are created.

Another one I truly adore is Popham Beach State Park. It’s one of Maine’s most beautiful beaches, and it’s really very QUIET compared to Old Orchard Beach itself. That massive sandy stretch just goes on and on, and the water is crystal clear – perfect for paddling in. I love to walk along the beach, find seashells, and truly enjoy the views of the islands that surround it. It’s so PEACEFUL, and I always feel totally refreshed after visiting.

And then there’s Acadia National Park, where the whole beach experience is quite different from the others. The rocky shores are just as beautiful as the sandy ones themselves. What I love about Acadia itself is the view. You get quite literally the most beautiful cliffs, pine trees, and that ocean all in one place. It feels just like a true escape from the world itself. Every time I visit, I discover something new to explore.

    Beautiful beaches

Maine doesn’t have beaches – it’s some of the most beautiful ones I’ve ever seen. One of the first things that amazed me was how untouched and PRISTINE the beaches were. They weren’t crowded with masses of tourists, so it’s much easier to find a peaceful spot to relax. The coastlines are dotted with spots where you can truly see nature at its very finest.

Crescent Beach State Park in Cape Elizabeth offers a calm sea for swimming. Families love it, and I often visit there with my friends and family too. Raegan Phillips from Springfield, Missouri, says it’s so safe. Fun always happens here.

Another BREATHTAKING spot itself is Sand Beach in Acadia National Park. It’s quite small, but the surrounding scenery makes it absolutely one of a kind. You’ll be surrounded by mountains, those rocky cliffs, and those trees that stretch towards the sky. The water is quite chilly, but it’s totally worth the experience itself. I’ve had some of my very best days at the beach here itself at Sand Beach.

    Sand and sea

If you enjoy beach time like me, you’ll want to explore all that Maine offers. The beaches themselves aren’t just for sunbathing – they’re perfect for exploring too! From tidal pools to hidden coves, there’s always something new to find out.

One of the coolest things I’ve done on Maine’s beaches is search for seashells. At places like Drakes Island Beach, I’ve found all sorts of beautiful shells and rocks. The beachcombing experience is so much fun and perfect if you’re looking to take home a part of Maine’s natural beauty.

Kayaking or paddleboarding at Higgins Beach offers an adventure in itself. You’ll see the coast from a distance.

  • My Disneyland Paris Guide Adventure

    Disney castle
    Disney castle

Imagine Main Street surrounded by Disney characters and castles! Let me share my Disneyland Paris guide with you, full of everything you need to make your trip UNFORGETTABLE. Grab your mouse ears and let’s go!

    Guide

On my first visit to Disneyland Paris, excitement filled me. was everywhere – from fairy-tale castles to INCREDIBLE rides. But let me tell you there’s a lot to know before you go, especially if you really wanna make the most of your trip. I’ve learned a few tricks along the way that will really make your experience even more MAGICAL.

    The Best Time to Visit

One of the first things I discovered about Disneyland Paris was that the time of year you visit makes quite a difference indeed! I’ve been there in both summer and winter, and let me tell you, each season brings something UNIQUE. If you’d prefer fewer crowds and a cooler atmosphere, I’d recommend visiting in the off-peak months like late autumn or early spring. I found the lines were so much shorter, and I could enjoy all the rides without having to wait too long. However, if you do love that FESTIVE atmosphere, then visiting over the holidays is essential. The decorations, parades, and shows make the park feel like it’s been transformed into something very special indeed.

    Attractions

I’ve spent a lot of time investigating the parks, and I’m able to say that there are a few must-see magnets you should never miss!! One of my absolute favorites is the ICONIC Sleeping Beauty Castle. It’s even more magical when you walk inside and discover the dragon hidden beneath the castle itself. It’s one of those secrets you really wouldn’t expect that makes Disneyland Paris stand out from the rest. Pirates of the Caribbean is another one of my favorite spots. The theming is incredible, and the boat ride through waters full of pirates makes it an experience you’ll never forget!

And don’t forget the Space Mountain ride! If you’re an adrenaline-seeker just like me, you’ll wanna blast off into outer space on this EXTREMELY fast rollercoaster. For CALMER rides, the It’s a Small World boat ride gives joyful songs and beautiful views.

    Dining

If you’re anything like me, food is a VITAL part of every trip. Disneyland Paris never lets us down on this phase! You’ll see loads of options from proper sit-down restaurants to snack carts all around the park. One of my absolute favorites is the classic crepes you can buy as a snack – they’re simply great. Meals at the Ratatouille-themed Bistrot Chez Rémy are highly recommended. It’s fun to feel miniature while enjoying French treats at the restaurant.

Short on time? Try quick food stalls with Mickey-shaped waffles and popcorn. You’ll need that energy for all the rides!

    Where to Stay near

When it comes to lodging, I’ve discovered there are loads of good ones. Staying in one of the Disney hotels is pretty much a dream come true! It immerses you in magic throughout the day. The Disneyland Hotel, near the park entrance, is a personal favorite. The hotel is truly STUNNING and will give you that perfect Disney experience from the themed bedrooms to the character breakfasts.

Wanna save some money? There are really good hotels just outside the park itself. Shuttle buses to Disneyland Paris make daily visits easy. I’ve stayed in these hotels, and they’re close to all the fun!

    How to Avoid Long Lines

Despite my love for Disneyland Paris, I’ve to admit the lines can get a lot longer, especially for the most popular rides. But don’t panic! Over the years, I’ve discovered a few tricks to really avoid the worst of the queues. First, be sure to get to the park super early! Early arrival lets you enjoy the main attractions with shorter lines. Disney hotel guests can take advantage of ‘Extra Magic Hours’ to access the park before it opens to the public.

Another trick is using the Disneyland Paris app to see what the current queues are like for the rides. This helps me do a plan for the day and avoid

  • How to Travel with a Suit on an Airplane

    Suit on airplane
    Suit on airplane

When flying on an airplane, it can be a very interesting experience, especially if you’re dressed for the occasion. A lot of people wonder, “How do you travel with a suit on an airplane?” Here are some ideas that will make your trip go smoothly and be really easy. Whether flying for work, an event, or a formal occasion, I’ll share how to travel comfortably and stylishly. Believe me, it’s all about having a plan and packing really smartly. These are my recommendations for a COMFORTABLE and stylish outfit on long flights.

    Comfortable dress

Now let’s concentrate/focus on your comfort level. I know what you’re thinking – “But I’ve to put on the suit!” And yes, you’re entirely right – but there are some options to make it work, so that you won’t feel trapped inside that stiff jacket for hours. I always make sure that I wear something super underneath my suit – such as a soft cotton shirt. Cotton is a real life-changer since it keeps me COOL and completely comfortable – and I don’t get too hot or perspire too heavily.

For the bottom part, I really love those stretchy chinos or the most comfortable trousers – they’ll feel just like sweatpants but still look quite respectable. These clothes will move with you – and let you stretch out whenever you wanna. Another trick is to have shoes that you can easily slip on and then take off. After all, who wants to be stuck with their shoes when they’ve to go through pledge – and that’s when you need them most.

Okay, so this might appear to be a rather unusual question – but stick with me. Maybe you’re putting together a costume for a specific event or just wanna get a little more creative. Let’s consider what you might dress up as that begins with the letter A. Here’s a pretty fun idea: “astronaut”. Just think about wearing that very cool astronaut suit that shines and looks really glistening. That’s a pretty fun idea, isn’t it? You can add just a few little touches to make it even more AMAZING.

Perhaps you’d prefer to opt for something a bit more fabulous – like “angel”. Angels are really beautiful, elegant, and always stylish. A nice, clean outfit – plus a pair of wings and maybe some gold accents. You’ll certainly stand out and feel just FANTASTIC. The best thing? You can have fun and still travel light without many accessories.

One challenge of traveling in a suit is keeping it fresh and wrinkle-free. Nothing is quite so bad as having to arrive at your destination with a suit that looks like it’s been rumpled into a ball. However, over the years, I found the solution to traveling in a suit on a plane without it ending up in a complete mess. If you ever have to travel in a suit, then try rolling your suit rather than folding it. I roll the jacket and trousers carefully to prevent creases. It works every time!

I always carry a small handheld cloth steamer in my carry-on bag. It doesn’t take up a lot of space – and I promise it’s totally worth it! A quick steam in the hotel room – or even on the plane (if there’s time) will make a big difference. Those awful wrinkles will disappear – and I’ll be good to go and look sharp once more!!

Those long flights themselves are quite the test of endurance – but with the right outfit and a bit of forethought, I’ll be able to make it through them. I do try to stay pretty hydrated. I always take my water bottle onto the plane and drink loads of water during the flight itself. This helps me feel better and avoid dryness, which makes long flights unpleasant.

For me, a neck pillow is essential. It supports my head during short naps, especially in a suit. It does a really COZY area to rest while still looking quite presentable when I wake up. Plus, a TOP-NOTCH neck pillow lets me forget all about that dreaded neck ache when we finally arrive at our destination. I’ll look great, feel super comfortable – and travel perfectly!

  • Best Vacations Out West: A Guide to Mountain Towns and Vail in March

    Ski slopes
    Ski slopes

When I think about the best vacations in the West, I immediately picture the mountains, incredibly wide open spaces, and small towns themselves. I envision some of the best places in the United States. If you’re searching for a winter wonderland or a summertime escape, I’ve got the best places for your next trip. This trip is all about visiting the finest mountain towns in the USA, really including those hidden gems like Gore Lake and the Little Switzerland of America. Get ready to travel along with me?

    Best Mountain Towns to Live

Alright, let’s look at the best mountain towns to live in the USA. These towns aren’t just for tourists – they’re thriving towns with a very specific way of life. I can’t help but really feel extremely fortunate to have paid a visit to a couple of them, and some of them even feel like home right now.

Vail in Colorado is one of those places that always makes me return. The view is simple, and the town itself looks as if it came out of a postcard. It’s a place where I can truly get involved in the active part of a ski town and enjoy the quietness of life in the mountains, too.

Then there’s Aspen – another town dear to my heart. It’s the most combination of old-fashioned charm and luxury. The people are super friendly, and the mountains themselves make you feel welcome the moment you arrive. I’d the best days ever checking out the signs, shopping, and sipping on hot chocolate in this truly stunning town.

Then there’s Telluride – a little off the beaten path itself, but still it’s got all that I’d want in a mountain town. It isn’t just a summer resort itself; Telluride in winter is absolutely magical.

    Gore Lake, Colorado

Have you ever heard of Gore Lake? It really seems like a secret that’s worth holding on to. Located in the heart of the Colorado Rockies itself, it consistently takes my breath away every single time I visit it.

I’ve done the hike to Gore Lake several times, and each time it really does get better. The -clear water perfectly reflects the towering peaks, and the peace is beyond measure. If you’re looking for a peaceful place in which to escape into nature, this is that place itself.

Getting there will be a bit of a challenge itself, but trust me, it’ll be worth it. You’ll be rewarded with views that make the effort absolutely worth it. This place helps you see and appreciate the beauty of the West.

    The Little Switzerland of America

I’ve seen a lot of places, but nothing at all comes close to New Glarus, Wisconsin – the Little Switzerland of America itself. I know, it’s not in the mountains themselves, but it’s so pretty that it probably had to be included on the list.

New Glarus truly lives up to its name. It’s a rather small town, but with a big European sway. The streets themselves are lined with Swiss-style buildings, and you can actually find Swiss chocolates, cheeses, and Swiss restaurants.

Should you be interested in PERSONAL places that have a lot of character and history, combined with a close relationship to nature, then this town is definitely something you should see. My visits themselves have that feeling of a fairy tale – set amongst mountains, hills, and a rich history.

    Vail in March

I don’t know about you, but March in Vail is my favorite time of year to visit. The snow is perfect, and the slightly warmer temperatures give it the best of both worlds.

Here in Vail, during March, the atmosphere is really fun. The town is quite busy with excitement as people enjoy the slopes themselves. I love starting my day off with a hearty breakfast at a local place in Vail village. After that, I’m heading out to the slopes with friends, and there’s nothing at all quite like carving your way through fresh powder itself under that lovely blue sky itself.

And if you don’t enjoy skiing, don’t worry – there are a lot of other things to do in Vail. The shops, restaurants, and the whole après-ski scene are truly top-class. For me, it’s about feeling the town’s spirit and experiencing a bit of an adventure itself.

To myself, I’ve always been attracted to beaches with the softest, golden sand that stretches out over miles. My favourite beach is located in Sardinia, where the really endless beaches and the CRYSTAL-CLEAR waters make it appear as though it’s a dream. It’s difficult not to feel as though you’ve stumbled upon your own hidden paradise.

Sicily is another place where I’ve had UNFORGETTABLE experiences. The beaches there are often much quieter, PERFECT for those who wanna escape the crowds. I spent a day on a southern beach, enjoying the waves in tranquility. Italy’s best sandy beaches often feel like a private retreat.

    Beach holidays in Italy

When I plan my beach holidays in Italy, I always have in mind a lot more than just the beach itself. It’s all about the experience – the food, the people, the adventures themselves. The best thing about a beach holiday in Italy is just how it blends rest and adventure with such ease. After a beach day, I love the lively coastal towns with markets, delicious seafood, and some friendly locals who’ll make you feel at home immediately.

The best beach holidays in Italy also offer you plenty of opportunities to discover the history and culture. I took some time out near the Amalfi Coast, where the beaches are quite beautiful, but the real enchantment comes from hiking the cliffs to come across ancient villages on the hills themselves. This entire experience is something that will be remembered forever.

    Destinations

For the best sandy beaches in Italy, I recommend a few destinations that truly impressed me. Capri is actually one place that left me utterly amazed. The water there’s blue, and the beach clubs really do make it possible to spend the entire day under the sun’s rays at ease. I felt like I was in a postcard, surrounded by cliffs and greenery.

Ischia, an island located extremely close to Naples, is also an AMAZING destination. I’d the pleasure of basking in the sun on the sandy beaches for a few days, and it was absolutely perfect. Ischia has thermal baths that offer a UNIQUE twist to the standard beach experience. After a swim, I’d take a dip in one of the natural hot springs and feel totally revitalised.

You must make sure not to miss out on Puglia, which might often be overlooked, but I promise it’s really home to some of Italy’s most beautiful and quietest beaches. The white sands and clear waters make it feel like a dream come true.

    Beach holidays

Whether reading a good novel or island hopping by boat, there’s always something to do. One of my absolute best experiences was renting a small sailboat along the Amalfi Coast itself. I found some of the most secluded coves and swam in the clearest waters that I’ve ever seen. It was a true adventure, and Italy’s beaches are IDEAL for both excitement and leisure.

Every beach has its own unique atmosphere and style. Some are calm and peaceful, ideal for a QUIET retreat. Others are lively and full of energy – perfect for those who wanna be in the middle of the action. No matter the style of beach I choose, I always leave Italy feeling like I’ve experienced the ultimate beach.
