Guide

On my first visit to Disneyland Paris, excitement filled me. was everywhere – from fairy-tale castles to INCREDIBLE rides. But let me tell you there’s a lot to know before you go, especially if you really wanna make the most of your trip. I’ve learned a few tricks along the way that will really make your experience even more MAGICAL.

The Best Time to Visit

One of the first things I discovered about Disneyland Paris was that the time of year you visit makes quite a difference indeed! I’ve been there in both summer and winter, and let me tell you, each season brings something UNIQUE. If you’d prefer fewer crowds and a cooler atmosphere, I’d recommend visiting in the off-peak months like late autumn or early spring. I found the lines were so much shorter, and I could enjoy all the rides without having to wait too long. However, if you do love that FESTIVE atmosphere, then visiting over the holidays is essential. The decorations, parades, and shows make the park feel like it’s been transformed into something very special indeed.

Attractions

I’ve spent a lot of time investigating the parks, and I’m able to say that there are a few must-see magnets you should never miss!! One of my absolute favorites is the ICONIC Sleeping Beauty Castle. It’s even more magical when you walk inside and discover the dragon hidden beneath the castle itself. It’s one of those secrets you really wouldn’t expect that makes Disneyland Paris stand out from the rest. Pirates of the Caribbean is another one of my favorite spots. The theming is incredible, and the boat ride through waters full of pirates makes it an experience you’ll never forget!

And don’t forget the Space Mountain ride! If you’re an adrenaline-seeker just like me, you’ll wanna blast off into outer space on this EXTREMELY fast rollercoaster. For CALMER rides, the It’s a Small World boat ride gives joyful songs and beautiful views.

Dining

If you’re anything like me, food is a VITAL part of every trip. Disneyland Paris never lets us down on this phase! You’ll see loads of options from proper sit-down restaurants to snack carts all around the park. One of my absolute favorites is the classic crepes you can buy as a snack – they’re simply great. Meals at the Ratatouille-themed Bistrot Chez Rémy are highly recommended. It’s fun to feel miniature while enjoying French treats at the restaurant.

Short on time? Try quick food stalls with Mickey-shaped waffles and popcorn. You’ll need that energy for all the rides!

Where to Stay near

When it comes to lodging, I’ve discovered there are loads of good ones. Staying in one of the Disney hotels is pretty much a dream come true! It immerses you in magic throughout the day. The Disneyland Hotel, near the park entrance, is a personal favorite. The hotel is truly STUNNING and will give you that perfect Disney experience from the themed bedrooms to the character breakfasts.

Wanna save some money? There are really good hotels just outside the park itself. Shuttle buses to Disneyland Paris make daily visits easy. I’ve stayed in these hotels, and they’re close to all the fun!

How to Avoid Long Lines

Despite my love for Disneyland Paris, I’ve to admit the lines can get a lot longer, especially for the most popular rides. But don’t panic! Over the years, I’ve discovered a few tricks to really avoid the worst of the queues. First, be sure to get to the park super early! Early arrival lets you enjoy the main attractions with shorter lines. Disney hotel guests can take advantage of ‘Extra Magic Hours’ to access the park before it opens to the public.

Another trick is using the Disneyland Paris app to see what the current queues are like for the rides. This helps me do a plan for the day and avoid
